More Pics

Here is Haley in front of one of our beautiful Azalea Bushes. Too bad they only bloom for about a week or so.

Luckily we had the camera out and ready to take a picture of Kori stretching out on her changing table. She just looked so cute stretching out and showing off her curvaceous figure.

Here was my mother's day present to myself! Two beautiful Hydrangea plants for the side of the house. I loved the colors! I can't wait for them to start producing flowers again.

We love putting Kori in bed with Haley. Yes, Haley is still in the crib but we are planning on moving her into the room next door soon. I am afraid I will lose her nap if she moves to a bed. Any tips?

My mom came to visit for a few days and we all went to the Wildlife Park up in Hershey. We had a great time and Haley loved checking out these gophers or whatever they are called. I can't remember anymore :) Pathetic. I know.

If you're afraid of losing the nap, make sure you move bedtime up an hour or more earlier. We failed to do this with Jilly when she stopped napping last year, and boy did we pay for it. She was a MONSTER! You can institute "quiet time" after lunch, where Hailey has to stay in her room, read books, play, or you could watch a movie. We do different stuff each day depending on the girls' activity level. Occasionally, they do fall asleep. But if they're getting enough sleep at night, they don't fall asleep.
As far as the actual bed goes, we did a toddler bed for Ev, and she transferred just fine. We acted really excited about it, offered treats in the morning if she stayed in bed at night, etc. Wow, this got long. :)

kacey's naps still continue. make sure hales loves the new bed, maybe a new stuffed animal or something to help coax her. then double gate her, single gate her if that's enough to keep her in there. let her have play time in her room, right before nap time. then come in and say, oka nap time. maybe put on some soft music, shut the blinds so that the scenary kinda changes and she knows the difference b/w play time in the room and nap time in that same room. if she's good with it (i do this with kacey), i put a baby door handle thing on the inside of kacey's door. she can't get out when i shut it, but i can get in. nap time is until i open the door back up... talk to you 2night! talen's been out of a crib for a few months now. we have to put a gate on the door and that works great. we are now starting to be able to not put the gate up every time for naps or bedtime but it definately helped in the beginning. he still takes a good 2 1/2 to 4 hour nap everyday!! good luck!
